I've been debating on getting 7" or 7.5" wide. Thinking about running 205-50-15 tires.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with these?

What type of opinions are you looking for? Fitment? That tire fits a 5.5-7.5 wheel. Should be fine.

I guess what I assumed was people with experience having them on civics, and also with no modification to fenders or tire wells.

you assumed correctly. I had issues with the tires rubbing on the inner fenderwell/frame of my 94 hatch when i was at full lock. . but it wasnt too bad. i will be rocking the same tire when i get my hatch back on the road.

edited for confusing grammar. lol

lol

Yeah I'm just having a really hard time deciding. I currently have a 6.5 wide wheel with 195 tires.

I want to go 7.5 if I can but the particular wheel I'm looking at goes from 15x7 with +36 offset to 15x7.5 with +42 offset. If I get the 7.5 I might have to run a 5mm spacer all around. What do you think?

sorry man, i dont really know too much about offsets. like i said, i rock factory rims like si's and gsr wheels. sounds like you know what you're talking about though. Are you going to roll the fenders, or at least roll up the lip thats inside the fender?

you should be good bro. the width and the offset should be fine. you should have little problem with the fenders. adding the 5mm space might be a little too much. i know a few guys who are 15x8 +25 and doesnt rub. but it also depends how low you go. tire size should be anywhere from 195/50 or /45. i would go with 195/45 for a little more tire stretch. but do more research. and you'll be fine

my bro is about to run 15x8.25. all around on his hatch. forgot the offset but. this will be a good experience.

15x7.5 +42 and a 5mm would sit very nice.

that size and offset sound very familiar.... are you planning on running 949 6UL's?
